The green area in front of the municipal office will get a new look, it will cater to the public more. The main objective of the construction works is to make the green area accessible to the public and to create an educational and ecological zone in the city center, where one can come to stay and relax. The site will gain planters, trees, ornamental grasses, an information board, an insect house, small educational haptic houses, nesting boxes, benches and description signs.

The old display boards used for information and public notices were the first to be dismantled. They have been fully replaced by electronic kiosks, which are located at the outer staircase of the municipal office.

The green area will be intended for the general public to relax in a green environment, yet right in the city center.

One of the educational elements in the new park in front of the office will be an insect house, which, in addition to its educational character, will help pollinate plants and at the same time fulfill its natural role as predators and food for other animals. Small haptic houses made of various materials, such as asphalt, concrete, paving, wood, brick, metal or grass, will also be a novelty. Thanks to the sun's rays, the individual materials are heated up and it is possible to test the temperature of the material for yourself. The materials will gradually change their appearance due to weather conditions. The new elements of the green space that the public will come across will not only be educational, but also practical. The green area will be intended for the general public to relax in a green environment, yet right in the city center. An important part of the new design for the site is to preserve as much green space as possible and to complement it. Eight deciduous trees and grasses will be added to the existing greenery. Tall greenery will be marked with descriptive signs with information about the given element. Planters with trees will also be added to create natural shade and tall grasses will contribute to a greater sense of intimacy. New nesting boxes will be placed on the trees.

The concrete wall, located near the pedestrian pathway to the office, will be covered with larch wood and will serve as a bench. The green area will feature a new pathway made of wooden oak sleepers, which will be gradually compacted to create a small gathering area.
