The city of Žilina will purchase 2 electric vehicles in the scope of the project, which will be used for the delivery of meals to pensioners within the city of Žilina.

When it comes to climate change and air quality, electric vehicles are clearly better than petrol or diesel vehicles. Electric vehicles consume less energy, especially when driving in cities. At the same time, there are no exhaust emissions of air pollutants in the form of nitrogen oxides and particulates. Electric vehicles can also contribute to noise reduction. Especially at lower speeds, they are less noisy than conventional vehicles. From a health perspective, their main benefit is related to air quality.

Thanks to the purchase of 2 electric vehicles, the city of Žilina will contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions.
